These pictures were contributed by Isaac Jiron, son of
Procpio Jiron, former principal. His mother, Mary Jane
Duran, also a teacher in Los Sauces, married Procopio in
Antonito, Colorado in 1939. These were some of her
students, probably 1st to 3rd grade. Anne DeHerrera,
pictured at the top, was also one of the teachers there
during this time.
